Viewers become muses in real-time, generating new digital divinities that echo ancient mythology through the lens of algorithmic identity. Ephemeral Reflections of Digital Divinities (2023) is a provocative installation that examines the evolution of self-representation from ancient Greek mythology to the digital age. This collaborative piece by Fabiola Larios and Moises Sanabria draws upon the timeless inspiration of the Greek Muses, while simultaneously exploring the impact of social media and digital culture on self-perception. The artwork creates AI-generated muses in real-time, using the viewer's photograph as the basis for constructing digital identities.

Interpretation

The installation bridges ancient mythology with contemporary digital culture, exploring how self-representation has evolved from classical ideals to modern digital identities. Through real-time AI generation, it questions the nature of divine inspiration in an age of algorithmic creation.
